Shawn took this video today and this is the Griffin that we know and love. He is getting quite the sense of humor. And we are enjoying every minute of him. Hope you do too!

The Yard Sale

Well I did it. I had a yard sale with my neighbor Teri. Shawn told he would pay me what ever I thought I would make on it not to have it. And I told him that it was not the money, but rather the motivation to clear stuff out and get rid of it. I made $40, but I got rid of a lot of stuff that I would have donated and made some people happy. Shawn has since asked that I don't do anymore. I enjoy yard sales when they are over and I feel 20 pounds lighter. I am now inspired to continue clearing out stuff and we will see what happens when I get down to his things. WATCH OUT!!!

A weekend with the Dinosaurs

This is the first entry in our new family blog. Welcome! The kids and I spent the Labor Day weekend in Vernal with my sister Valerie and her family. We had a great time and enjoyed the fantastic weather and their wonderful hospitality. We went to the Dinosaur National Monument where the kids were able to become Junior Rangers and learn all about the outdoors and how to be a good steward of nature. We also hiked up to the Quarry that was closed about a year ago. It was nearly a 1/2 mile up a very steep hill. We definitely got our exercise that day. We also went to the Natural History Field House and had a fantastic time "digging" for bones and learning about how to find dinosaurs and fossils. Griffin has become our resident paleontologist and cannot get enough of the "Roars" and "T-Rex". We will look forward to chatting with you again soon so be sure to come back often.
